Editorial policy
How articles get written, reviewed and corrected, and what we do when we get something wrong.
Everything published here is written or reviewed by an engineer who ships production front ends. Nothing is generated, and nothing is published because a vendor asked for it.
Review
Any article that names a number goes through a second engineer, who has to be able to reproduce the measurement. Articles that pass carry a green Peer reviewed badge in the byline.
Corrections
- Factual errors are corrected in place, with a note at the foot of the article saying what changed and when.
- Numbers that go stale are re-measured rather than quietly deleted.
- We never silently rewrite a claim to match a later result.
Sponsorship
One sponsor per month, marked as a sponsor, never inside an article. Sponsors read the post at the same time you do.

Corrections are the most useful mail we get. Send the article, the claim, and what you measured instead.
